I am looking forward to being your personal guide on one of my tours of Italy, and, I hope, Paris too.
I fell in love with Italy the first time I visited this beautiful country at age 21. I have been back to Italy many times, the longest being one year (2007/08), during which I became fluent in the beautiful Italian language and travelled extensively across the country. I have also fully organised, and personally guided, trips for family and friends who visited me there, with the longest being for one month, covering lots of Italy from Venice to Sicily.
I would now like to share my Italian travel experiences with other women by offering you affordable and small guided tours, selecting the most delightful parts of Italy.
In 2011 Itineraries, I added Paris as the icing on the cake! Given the interest, I'll be continuing with the Paris tour in 2012.
With my love of travelling, language skills, local knowledge and Italian and French friends, I am confident that these small, women-only, tours will offer something intimate and special, and beyond what tourists generally experience. It will provide a break away from the day-to-day busy life and where you can relax the mind & soul and feel and experience Italy and Paris with all your senses coming alive. While the tours last 2/3 weeks, the memories and the friendship among the tour members will energise your life for a long time to come – I sincerely promise you that!
I started this business after more than 20 years of senior advisory positions within the New Zealand public sector. The public service experience has been a privilege and I look back on it with pride. The 2009 was the starting year for Women Tour Italy and a fresh beginning for me. Since then I've enjoyed great personal reward, sharing my best travel experiences with my tour guests.
Having lived 8 years in the US (where I did my MBA and worked as a business woman in New York), and since 1985 in New Zealand, and given my Persian origin, I consider myself an international citizen. I feel that I have a multi cultural background which makes me flexible and adaptable in my approach, while being responsible to deliver a high quality service. This is what I am offering in my tailor-made tours.
